This Privacy Policy explains how ChronifyAI, LLC ("ChronifyAI", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information through Chronify.Support, a hosted customer support platform for Moodle environments. Chronify.Support is a product of ChronifyAI, LLC.

2. Information We Collect

Account information you provide, such as your name, work email address, organization name, and organization type when you request a demo or subscribe. Support content, including messages, tickets, live chats, and attachments submitted through the platform. Contextual information from connected Moodle sites, such as the user's identity, Moodle site, course, page, role, and relevant environment details surrounding a support request, to the extent permitted by the connecting organization.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to: operate and provide the Service; give support agents the context needed to resolve requests; communicate with you about the Service, including demos and billing; maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues; and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Moodle Context and Roles

When an organization connects a Moodle site, contextual information flows to the organization's own support agents inside Chronify.Support. The connecting organization controls which information is shared and is responsible for informing its users and complying with applicable privacy laws.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only with: service providers that help us host and operate the Service, bound by confidentiality obligations; the organization whose subscription you use, for the support content you submit; and authorities where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and as required by law. Support content is retained according to the connecting organization's settings and our standard retention practices. Organizations may request deletion of their data after termination.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls, to protect information processed through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. If you are an end user of a connected Moodle site, please direct requests to the organization that operates that site; otherwise contact us at hello@chronify.support.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.

10. International Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by organizations, not directly by children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without proper authorization, we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
